AHADU pronounced AHA-DO, is of Ethiopian Origin and translates to “The First or The Beginning”.

When AHADU Coffee Roasters Inc. was founded, we had a few things in mind; quality, sustainability, service, and simplicity. How could we serve our coffee farmers in ways that will empower growth while producing top quality beans in a sustainable manner that will be for generations to come.  We wanted to roast premium coffee from the birthplace, but we also wanted to ensure that our business could improve the lives of those who live in the communities we source from.

We only use single origin, organic, 100 % Arabica coffee beans directly from small hold farmers and are constantly grateful for their “literal fruits of their labour”. 

We actively support the farmers while being a great steward of the environment so we can learn, grow, and inspire others to do the same.
